as the country ground to a near halt, with planes falling from the skies and snocone machines left untended, hundreds of thousands of congresspeople had their eye whites looked at by The Patriots. their used patriotic chewing gum was carefully wrapped in the foil provided and put in a pocket or in a proper trash receptacle. plus they washed every window in the city, because that's just how nice they are.
