'tis such a pity that John McCain didn't have an opportunity to forcefully voice his opinions over the last six years. if only he'd been in a position of authority like, oh I don't know, maybe if he'd been a very important Senator in the majority party his voice would've been heard and we wouldn't be in the awful fix we're in. darn the luck.
